Kevlar Brake Shoes 444-544

A couple of weeks ago i posted a query with this title that may have not been seen as it was hidden in the series of notes on the 444 front end rebuild.

Ted Schumacker from TS Imported Auto in Ohio offers Kevlar shoes for most Brit cars. He tells me he can do them on Volvos as well. Has anybody tried Kevlar brakes and is it really an upgrade?

It certainly may be less hassle to try these than convert to discs.

Any thoughts?

Just got back from Import Carlisle and Volvo parts vendors were far fewer than in past years.
