Alternator Recommendations? 120-130

Tom O,
Your comments about an AC Delco alternator in a PV caught my attention. My PV544 came with a Delco. It has been working OK but it is so large that it can't be moved far enough to get the belt off and the pully does not match up with the flywheel pully perfectly. It needs to go forward about 1/2 inch. The bracket looks like it is home made, nice job but that 1/2 inch bothers me a lot. This set up was on a B18 and transfered to a B20. I assume it has the "ear" but I have not looked
What Delco alternator did you use on your PV544's? I assume it was small enough to move and get the belt off. I also have the original bracket and adjusting arm from the B18. If I have the "ear" for the bottom bolt, will the B18 bracket work for the top bolt?
Dennis
