1990 745 Rebuild/ Bigger Turbo 700

Ok guys Im going for the gusto on this. I have a 1990 745ti. The turbo is the late model garrett i think its the T25, it seized up some months ago, my tramission wont stay in 5th gear when the car is warm and I have plans to overbore the engine with bigger pistons the heads were done 2 years ago and has a VX cam in it. Some usual interior work. The steering and suspenion will be getting new bushings. Now is this a good idea and can I get a bigger better turbo for this???????? Please help with any ideas the car work very well without the turbo but I cant do too much driving
