Diagnosis help - engine performance 700 1989

Thanks for this input. I tried an old diagnostic trick on the AMM... just disconnected it at idle at operating temperature. The engine speed dropped down signifcantly from the 750 rpm idle and it sputtered until I reconnected the AMM. I don't have access to another "known good" one to swap, but am not sure I would see a difference. Will keep this in mind though.
