thanks to all for the help, but now i have another problem! THIS SUCKS!!!!!! 900 1994

Ok, I bought the crank shaft/rpm sensor/reference semsor and installed it with no problems. Actually it was very straight forward and easy. Well i installed the sensor and now the car hesitates to start and when it does, it sounds like its missing in the mid rpm range and then as the rpms drop it goes to about 500 rpms and misfires. I pulled the negative battery cable to try and reset the computer and im at a loss. Im just refamiliarizing myself with Volvo's again. I had a 89 740 that never gave me problems and i traded it for a F-150, What a mistake that was!! I guess the Volvo gods are after me now! Well thanks in advance for any suggestions! In the morning im going to check the plugs and wires, although they are pretty new.
