740 Sedan Suspension 700 1991

I need to replace the shocks on my '91 740 (8-valve) and am uncertain whether I should go with Boge or upgrade to Bilsteins, KYB, or Koni. After I do the shocks I will have the struts replaced with cartridges by the same manufacturer.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or horror stories, on which brand/model to use or avoid? I used Bilsteins in my '69 P1800 years ago and found the ride a bit rough but it gave me better control over a car that was heavy on turns. However, I am not sure of how the 740 will perform.

In the near future, I also plan on installing matched front/rear anti-sway bars from ipd.

Thank you for your time and assistance.
