Question about automatic overdrive 200 1993

This is true about the rear end ratio. As a result, at least, from my experience, the automatic Volvos I've driven don't have nearly as much acceleration as an identical model with a M-46.

Just something to keep in mind.

If you really wanted to go nuts, you could save the transmission from your soon to be gone '83 and put it in the '93. It is possible to install a M-46 in the later 240s.
