Hey...thanks for the reply. I hope I didn't imply that I was taking the old blue tow truck into the field with the .22 or anything, it will be fixed be me, it's just that pulling the engine / dropping the tranny wasn't on my high priority list of things to do this week. When is it ever, I suppose.

Thanks for the advice, the throw bearing doesn't look like a tough job, getting the clutch aligned and on properly seems much more daunting. I'm no newbie to working on cars or volvos in particular, but luckily, messing with manual trannies and clutches is something I've never had to deal with...

.. until now! (sigh...sip beer...sigh)
