SOS! Distributor installation help needed! 200 1988

I'm reassembling my engine after having it rebuilt by Thunderbolt in Houston, TX. It's in the stand right now. I took scads of pictures and tons of notes during the disassembly. I have the Bentley, Chiltons, Haynes, and the green books. What I cannot figure out is how to properly install my distributor with the rotor in the proper position. Most of the diagrams that I have show a distributor with a vacuum thingee on the side. The others mention a line on the distributor body. Mine has neither of these things.

My engine at TDC. Can someone tell me what position the rotor is supposed to be in upon installation into the block assembly? Thanks in advance,
