242GT vs later standard spoiler comparison 200

Hi all,

I am in the process of swapping to later style bumpers on my '79 242GT, I definately want to keep the original 242GT spoiler and it is definately do-able, I just need to drill a few holes on the lower side of the later bumper so that I don't have to modify the original spoiler.

I have just posted a photo so you guys can compare the difference between the two types of spoilers, as you can see the 242GT one extends much further back but at the front they are approx the same size:

Both of the spoilers carry a warning against fitting them with non-factory wheels as it may result in reduced low speed braking!

Hope you enjoy,

Daz
