740 engine problems 700 1989

Hey that is a neat trick there, Bosch LH and Regina/Rex all under the same hood!?!?! You should have one or the other, Bosch LH 2.4 with EZK ignition OR Regina injection with Rex ignition made by Bendix.

If you have engine speed sensor codes and the sensor looks iffy at all I would stuff a new one in it. Check for any vacuum leaks and clear the codes and run it to see what codes come back.
