starter solenoid failure, and locating the starter service connector 900 1993

I was surprised that my starter solenoid failed without a hint of a warning. Worked perfectly every time, then nothing. Pulled the starter, and "bench tested" it against the rebuild, and sure enough, that was it. I know the Bentley 240 manual talks about a solenoid replacement, but I don't know of any place that does anything but a full rebuilt starter. At any rate, I got a 3 year warranty on the rebuild, so that's not bad ($150 CDN with core at Canadian TIre).

In the process, I couldn't find the starter service connector. I believe that the wire is supposed to be pink. On my 200, it hangs off the 8-pin grey connector on the firewall. Can someone direct me to where it is on the 940?

Thanks.
