Window rattles on a 760 - question please 700 1989

The prior owner had a shadetree tech do a lock swap. I am trying to get the connecting hardware back right. I have a rattle when the drivers window is near the bottom or fully down.

I note there is scuffing in the bottom of the door - looks as if the window holder is hitting when it is fully down.

Question: Is there a pad or some sort of cushion at the very bottom of the window?

Any other ideas would be most welcome.
