shock absorbers mismatch in pair..?? 200

had got a pair of brand new rear shock absorbers (SACHS 101471 "super touring", oil, $29 each. for the curious ones :) ), unpacked them and got ready to install but had noticed that when i'm stretching/shrinking them by hand with the force of 8-10 kg one shrinks faster/easier than another one (slightly less difference when stretching them)...
is there any knowledge available what to do in that case? install them anyway or complain to the seller?
