I want to clean out the threads of the head/block and understand that bottoming taps are the tool to use.

Quick question as to what sizes are needed? Just trying to save some time measuring threads. Also any suggestions for best sources would be great. I was planning on using Wholesale Tool. They seem to have decent prices and are only 1-day UPS away.
