Looking for radio..... 700 1986

Believe it or not, most newer radios are made like crap.

The old Volvo radios (at least, in the 200 cars) have very high quality units. AM is very wideband, and FM doesn't have any Blend to mono. (In other words, Music on AM sounds almost as good as FM, and FM Stereo actually stays in Stereo.)

Newer AM radios are super narrow band. Many sound worse then a telephone. It's down right pathetic as far as I'm concerned. While some people don't care about blend to mono on FM, I absolutely hate it. If I'm listening to a Stereo broadcast, I don't think it's too much to ask that the radio STAY in Stereo!

Good luck in your search.
