700 T no start 700 1986

My '86 760T stranded me and I had to have it towed home. It had been running poorly and I changed the plugs and distributor/rotor - then it was running well. But it had a problem restarting when hot. Now it doesn't start at all and I get no spark at the spark plug wires nor at the high tension wire from the coil to the distributor.

Could I have messed something up inside the distributor (like a Hall sensor if I have one?)

SHouldn't I have a spark running to the distrib even if I did mess up something inside the distributor?

Thanks
Greg
