Pulley off w/ rope, 1 quest on AC comp mount 200 1991

The rope worked beter than expected. With an 18" pipe on the 18" ext, it was an easy pull to take off. Marmonic balancer seems fine, I guess the crank was turning and not the belt because of the stipped belt teeth. BUt why did they strip? Because the belt had broken. Cam gear and oil/distr gear turn easily.

So one other question. The lower left (when facing engine) attachment point of the AC compressor is just a hole in the ear of the comp. It pivots normally here. But is there supposed to be a bolt there is it some kind of sleeve attachment?
