Mann or K&N Oil Filter??? 200

I've been a Mann Oil Filter guy ever since I've owned my 240... My Corvette driving roommate raves about his K&N Gold Performance Oil Filter...

So what are your thoughts? It's hard to find auto parts stores near me that carry the Mann filters (without having them ordered or shipped from FCP or IPD) and these K&N filters would be much more accessible.

I know the Fram filters are crap (or so I've heard/read) but I LOVE the K&N air filter products so Im sure it cant be all that bad...

Anyhow, let me know what you think! Thanks
