Need to replace from catalytic converter all the way back.....what's best buy? 200 1989

Catalytic converter has never been replaced and rattles like it's got loose stuff in it. Most of exhaust system has been patched and repatched so it's time to replace ..also, some corrosion and rust on the front muffler where the pipe goes in....and the back muffler has been patched too.

As far as any upgrades...the answer is no. Just want to keep a good running stock car....it's my daughter's car that she'll be using for college. Don't want any louder sound..or anything like that. I just want a good functioning exhaust system. The one that's on it now is loud and rattles.

What is ballpark price for cat converter on back and what is best source to buy? I'm going to get a local to install..because I don't want to. Biggest worry are the exhaust manifold bolts where the cat converter connects...

Anyway....For those of you who have replaced the converter on back...where did you buy and how much is this going to cost?

Thanks,...Cabbie2169
