Why does my Power Steering Moan 900 1994

Is it unhappy? It seems to prefer to drive straight ahead, and complains to me whenever I turn recently. I tell it that turning corners is a better option than going straight ahead, but it can't see the logic, and still moans at me.

Any idea why it has started making a moaning noise. Fluid level is right. No leaks. It's done 150,000km (93000 mile, so convert.exe says)
