1986 240 ignition control unit wiring / connections 200

I know the connection at the ignition control unit is not very good. I need to wiggle the plug at times for the car to start. There are sleeves on some of the pins but I am not certain if another pin may be the problem or one of the pins with a sleeve is the culrpit. I've thought about soldering wires on to each pin at the control unit and wiring in my own harness unless I can get some better ideas from you all. Maybe if I could release the female connectors I could squeeze them a bit to improve the connection. I've tried deoxit to try improving it, but this is going on two years and I think a permanent fix is needed. I haven't really thought of a new control module and harness from the factory. Probably costs more that the car is worth....

Thanks, Chad
