Hard Plastic Fule Line on K-Jet 200

On my 1980 242, there are some pieces of the K-Jet system that use a hard plastic fuel line (usually encased in a softer rubber sheath). This hard plastic line appears to be heat shrunk over the barbed fittings onthigs such as the frequencyu valve. Is it possible to buy this hard plastic line in bulk length, and if so, how do you work it onto the fittings for a tight, safe seal ? Reason for asking is that some of the components, like the frequency valve, whne rodred as a standard Bosch part, do not come with this hard hose attached. Thaks.

Mike
