I use FoMoCo filters.....FL300 Don't tighten with a wrench! 200

That's because Ford didn't want to deal with them anymore. Goes against the point of having a premium product selling at cut-rate prices. Makes it tough for dealers to justify charging $4 for the filters to their customers too, seeing how it's sold down the street for $2.67.

FWIW, even at $4, it's cheaper than a Puralator Pure-One filter, which is what it is inside, really.

Anyways, I have like a stockpile of over 50 W917, FL-1A, and FL300 filters. It should last me a few years ... :)
