M41 Propshaft question 120-130 1967

Hi,

I've finally found an M41 gearbox with J type overdrive from a P1800E. The guy that I'm buying it from says that the propshaft has larger flanges than the Amazon propshaft. I've searched the archives and it seems that changing the front half of the propshaft is usually enough but I'm wondering about the flanges. Can anyone tell me if a large flange front half can be joined to the rear half of an Amazon propshaft and if any changes to the support bearing are needed.

Thanks in advance,

Aidan
