Amusing findings 120-130

I put shoulder belts in the rear of mine, and I looked under there. Mine is a '63, and I didn't see any.

After pondering it a little, I got some 240 sedan rear belts, removed the C-pillar hanger, and mounted them on the hat shelf, pointing straight forward (used hardened bolts and some heavy steel 'washers' inside the trunk to prevent them from ripping out). The bottom end just used the existing lap belt mounts. I did mount the 'backwards', slightly. I put the reels in the center, and the latches oun the outside. The belts just seemed to fit better that way - as opposed to sittng out next to the C-pillars - the PV gets narrower behind the seat. I also figured that if the car was hit on the side that the belt would do a better job of holding the rear passenger on the opposite side.
