Starter Wiring Installation Question...make sure I'm doing it right 200 1988

Just reinstalled my rebuilt engine. Thank goodness I took loads of pictures during all stages. Really helped me out figuring out what goes where.

Here is my question: Starter wiring. I have the blue/yellow wire on the proper connector. (confirmed via manual) Coming out of the same, main wiring harness, is a large red wire with rubber boot. I could see no other place where this wire would go except for the starter. Also have the large red wire coming from the battery hooked up to the starter. The manuals only seem to call for the blue/yellow wire and the battery cable hooked to the starter. I could find no mention of the other red wire. My pictures were unfortunetly unclear on this issue.

The car starts and runs, but my fingers were crossed during the initial starts.

Do I have this set up correctly? Or am I about to damage something?

Thanks in advance,

-Chris
