possible engine damage? 200

I was recently working on my 84 244gl with the engine running.Somehow, durring my repair, the throttle became lodged open and the engine began to rev wildly. I sprinted for the key and shut it off. It ran wide open for at most 10 seconds. The car seems to run fine but i am worried i have done some type of internel damage. Can anyone relate to my experience or provide me with some insight as to what kind of damage/wear is associated with this? I would appreciate any help.
