Amsoil oil filter slow to reach pressure? 200

On my '93 Volvo 240 I just tried my first Amsoil Oil Filter. I heard lots of good stuff about them and thought I'd give it a try at my mid-year filter change.

I am now seeing that it takes a couple seconds for the oil pressure warning light to turn off when starting the car after it has been sitting for a while (i.e. overnight).

With the Mann filter the oil pressure warning light went off instantly.

What's up with this? I'm not happy with the behavior. My understanding is that the Amsoil filter has an anti-drainback valve, but it does not seem to be doing a good job at all.

Thoughts?
