Additional 1992 Air Conditioning R134a Conversion Question 200 1992

Assumption: I get the Volvo R134a air conditioning conversion kit for my 1992. I've read through the Volvo service bulletin for converting the A/C system from R12 to R134a and I have one question.

On a 1992, it is my understanding that the oil can be drained from the compressor by removing the drain plug. Then the new ester oil is filled into the compressor from the top fill plug. The compressor stays on the car.

Next I remove the old orifice and install the new orifice.

Here's my question: Should I or should I not fill the new accumulator with ester oil? The instructions say that if the compressor was replaced in the previous step, no ester oil is needed for the accumulator. I'm confused. The compressor is the same compressor, but the oil has been changed to ester oil.

I'm guessing that I need to put the ester oil in both the new accumulator and in the old compressor. Right?
