Ontario Drive-Clean Question 200

Hi All,
Last year I got a conditional pass on my Driveclean test. Problem was primarily hi NOX. I had Canadian Tire run a $100 diagnostic and a their $150 version of a Motorvac, and still failed, but it did qualify me for a conditional. I've been hearing disturbing rumours that you only get one C/P, the next time you fail you either empty your wallet till you pass, or you crush the car. Any truth?
