Object on cable inside passenger door - What does it do? Also stop light problem 444-544

A common reason for the cylinder to come loose from the cable is excessive force on the winder. This also has the effect of bending one or more links of the chain portion of the lift cable that the winder actually works on to move the window.

Inspect the chain portion carefully, any links that do not look like their fellows will cause issues. If you cannot get the link(s) bent back to original shape a new cable is in order.
