Help needed on electrical work 200 1986

Hi all,

My wagon has the most frustrating problem. It runs great for weeks at a time and then will encounter a no electricity problem. The scenario goes like this - I will start my brick and then turn on the light and then everything dies. There is no electrcity to anything, no dome light, no stereo, no nothing. Another time I started the wagon and tapped the brake pedal and then no electricity, completely dead. I can go back four hours later and it will start up and run with no problems. Can you all give me some pointers on what to look for?

Thanks,

George
