Hood Quiet kit from IPD worth every penny! 200 1988

Just installed the Hood Quiet kit from IPD. All I can say is Wow! Ultra quiet up front now!

IPD notes that this kit is for 1976-85 model year 240's. The catalog mentions that it may fit in a 1986-93 240 with some trimming. I'm here to tell ya, no trimming is required and it REALLY drops the engine noise while driving. You can still hear the engine, but it's no longer one of the primary sounds that you hear. (if that makes sense)

My stack of receipts of items I've puchased for my car is quite large...this was one of the better things that showed instant results.

So the next time you've got $50 burning a hole in your pocket...give the guys in Portland a call!

Now I'm off to order some DynaMat alternative type stuff so I can do the cargo area too!
