Upper/Lower Bushings Done - Thanks Vclassics 120-130

Clunks and groans are gone and no more wobbly steering. Spent two days putting on new steering arms, tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, motor mounts and last but not least upper and lower control arm bushings.

The article at Vclassics.com made the job straightforward and much less intimidating. The only two delays were: finding that I had put the lower ball joints on upside down while the conrol arms were off and attaching one of the lower control arms with ball joint only to stumble across the front spring behind me.

The lower control arms and thier pressed in bushings were taken to a very old and ratty alignment shop that is highly recommended around these parts. The owner did the job himself and mentioned that I probably would have had a heck of a time trying to do it on my own.

The ride is much smoother now and the car goes where it is pointed as soon as the steering wheel starts moving -- amazing. Now I'm gonna have to pick up some rear end bushings. It feels like the car is higher in the front than the back.
