Hey all,

my 1992 240 (I believe AW70) is coming due for an flush of the tranny...

Has anyone had this professionally done by an aamco or jiffy lube type of place? While there aren't huge problems, it's coming up on 200K and I've found out (the very hard way...) that the previous owner was not the best at keeping the car in great shape (routine maintenance, for instance).

What was your experience after having it flushed? I was hoping the car would shift a little smoother, and also tighten up my shift points.

Let me know what you think, and also, if i have it done by a transmission joint, will they automatically do the torque converter too, or should I make that request?
