960 no start problem 900

Recently completed an engine transplant on a 92 960. Installed a 93 2.9 inline six into the 92. Problem is------- No start. No power at injectors or at coils. Have replaced RPM sensor(CAM SENSOR) and sensor at the crank shaft(fly wheel) 960 self diagnoser not going in to analyze mode. Repair shop not strong on Volvo Products. Shop thinks Main ECU dead in the water. During transplant I could have spiked computer using a battery jump box involving wrong polarity.
How many computers are on a 960? Will a 92 960 computer drive a 93 960 motor? Has anyone else had a no ignition, no fuel injector problem and what did you do to fix it? I need to get this slug back on the road ASAP.
