Hello,

What would keep putting this car into "limp home mode" ? AMM seems to be good. Checked it at idle and at high engine speed on another vehicle. TPS is new. TB is clean. New ign leads, plugs, rotor, and cap. Both fuel pumps working. New filters. Runs better with the AMM connected. Fuses re+re'ed. Fuel pump relay new. Engine grounds checked OK. IAC cleaned and functioned to wide open when 12 volts applied. Flame trap clear. New timing belt. Up to this time fuel consumption was normal. No ruptured diaphragm in the FPR. Fuel injecters removed and cleaned.
The engine will not rev above 2000 RPM whether loaded or not. Idles high after running a short while and irratic between 1000 and 1300 rpm. On board diagnostics say 223 on the fuel side and 234 on the ign side. Engine light on. The condition degraded over the past couple of weeks. Now it is constant.

Any ideas would be appeciated.

thanks,
Brian.
