My car is sluggish. 200 1987

So I did a timing belt on my 87 240 with 175k.I new I was off a tooth so today I went back and lined everything up the correct way. The timing is on the mark. But the car is still sluggish from 0 to about 40mph.I mean REALLY slooow.Where else should I be looking. The car has new cap, rotor and plugs.Once it gets going it's fine, shifts great.I need some ideas where to look next.TIA
Nelson
