jack points for engine mount replacement 200

I jacked mine one side at a time and placed a block of wood on a bottle jack. The jacking points were on the side of the pan where it bolts to the block. However, I believe the use of an beam across the fenders with a chain connected to the front lifting eye would be safer. WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T PLACE A JACKING BLOCK ON THE OIL DRAIN PLUG!!!!!!!! We had a whale of negative messages on this forum when a fellow did that and bent the drain plug area into a dimple.

Also be careful to keep your hands away from any pinch points where they could get caught if the engine support slips.
