How do you know if compressor is bad? 200

I tried to put 134a in my 89 240. It would hardly take half a can over half an hour. Compressor got very hot. I tried a 2 ounce oil injection...same ultra slow suction. The system was empty, except for what oil was left. I vacumed it down last year when I tried Freeze 12. It held good and gave me 60 degrees at the vents. This year it didn't cool so I tried 134 again after emptying any remaining freeze 12, ester oil in the system.

I was told I need to vacumn it down again, then try to inject gas. I wonder if the compressor is bad? I also have no idea how much oil is in the system now.

This is the 4th try on this thing. It came with a converted system and a leak, fixed that and tried Hotshot, cracked a line in the condenser, changed it and tried Freeze 12, now that poops out. No gas has ever been better then 60 degrees at the vents. Wonder if my compressor was weak and now shot. Wouldn't doubt it after all the gases I have tried.

Any quick checks on the compressor I can do?
