Knock Sensor Location(s) & Speedo signal missing 900 1992

1992 960 Wagon w/172k miles

My "Check Engine" light came on last week. I checked the computer and received the code for a faulty FRONT knock sensor. I know where the rear one is. Does anyone know where the FRONT one is? I have checked my Chilton manual, but it does not show the location nor describe it.

Also, the code for "Missing Speedometer Signal" came up. Any ideas for tracking down that one? Pretty sure this is why the cruise control refuses to operate. The previous owner informed me that the dash was R & R'd by the dealer at about 50k to work on the A/C...hmmmmm.

Thanks in advance for the help.
