1984 245 exhaust 200 1984

This is hopefully an easy question. the flange between the front pipe and catylitic converter snapped while going up some pretty rough mountain roads this week, the best fix seems to be placing a small section of exhaust pipe as an insert connecting the two back together then welding them in place. My question is what is the inside diameter of the stock type exhaust? i am going to get the exact measurement once i have it all apart but i would like to pick up a couple different sections to make the best fit. the memeasurement question is so that i don't buy more than i really need. Thanks in advance
