engine mount sequence 200 1989

I used a Floor Jack on the Bellhousing and I used a small 2x6 and a floor jack on the front crank. The stabilizer bar sticks down too far for the 2x4 unless you have a little bottle jack that can sneak past it.

Before jacking anything, I took off the 3 nuts attaching the lower bracket to the Frame. Then jack to take the weight off. You do not need to jack it up so high as to get the studs on that lower bracket clear of the Frame.
unbolt the three bolts on the upper bracket to the Block and lift the whole assembly up and away from the block.

PS do one side at a time...much easier to line up the Motor
