Water pump 700 1990

U have to remove the TOP portion of the timing belt cover only.
one nut is behind that cover

I did not take the rad out on my 740 NA

pay good attention to scrap the block clean of old gaskets

I used blue Hylomar for sealing the rubber gaskets
and let it dry overnight.

Works perfect so far

change the thermostat and heater valve at the same time,
since the water is out

I used also the Hylomar for the thermostat housing - its justaboutperfect

the new original Volvo pumps have a different
propeller-wheel than the old ones-
don't know whats better
