Aux Electric Fan - Where is it? 900 1991

Hi,

I'm a newbie - I have a 91 940 Turbo. When I bought it (in January) I was given a 14" auxillary electric fan made by Four Seasons and told to install it before using the A/C.

Well - it's 30 degrees celcius and I have balck leather interior = I FINALLY decide to install the thing.

Problem is, from the sounds of it the old one should have been mounted between the radiator and the intercooler (about 2.5" of clearance) whereas this one is about 3.5" inches deep!

Does it make sense to install this in front of the intercooler?

My thought is that I need to get one from a wreckers, as this thing is way to thick - however - I don't know if it is indeed supposed to go between the intercooler and rad!

Does anyone have any pictures and advice?!
