240 timing off again... 200

i feel like a big dummy, because it wasn't for hours that i realized (just as one of the responses says...) that the timing marks won't probably realign themselves for a lot of rotations after the motor turns over. so the 15 plus times of putting the belt back on its marks this weekend were just an exercise to see how fast i can do it now...

now, with that said, i have to take back what i had stated about the timing being off as soon as i turn the engine over. not having realized that until late sunday night, i had already removed and inspected the distributor and taken off everything i could reach without removing the engine. so now i have to put all this crap back together and start over.

the only thing i DID find to have fault in all the hours spent is that my COLD START INJECTOR does not work, and DOES have 12v to it. i will start a new link with this...
