Central locking sleuthing... Please, please help. 700

Wow, Dave, what a thoughtful reply.

As I said, I have determined that power goes to the front passenger door when the driver lock hickey is pulled up or down. I'll go ahead and test power to the other lock motors, and also the ohms as you described. I do not know much about electrical work, other than looking for power, loose connections, and bad grounds.

I'd be pretty darned suprised if al of the motors went dead at the same time, but what you describe makes sense. If I have to replace them, half the battle will be getting to the darned things: they're completely encased in the door, even with the interior panel removed!

I'll make another attempt tomorrow (I have no patience today: some jerk hit my truck when it was parked and left no contact info...). I will report back on my progress and hope that either you or another helpful soul might be around for more input.

Thanks again,

mrad
