Removing Intake manifold B23E 200 1985

Hi all,
Just wondering if anybody has taken off the intake manifold off a B23E- the one with the upswept intake runners and the box plenum. Im about to take it off for a clean, and to get access to various damaged hoses/temp gauge sender and ill just fumble about until it comes off. But! if there is a particular process that will make the whole process easier i would love to know about it!
