how to clean head bolt threads in the head?82 244 200

i did not make it clear ...however what is the proper method to clean out the holes in the block before replacing the head?,which was warped ..the mechanic told the previous owner it was the fuel distributor..which i replaced along with a wiring harness...the car still ran very poorly...finally i suspected a burnt valve...but upon removing the head we noticed the gasket was burnt between #3 and #4 cylinders..the machine shop pointed out the warp ...resurfaced it along with a pressure check..now i am waiting for the gasket set from fcpgroton...hopefully this all comes to the happy ending we all love...kris
